The candidate must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Council of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh or any examination recognized equivalent thereto by the Government.

The minimum requirement for the candidates are as follows :-

Physical Efficiency Test For UPSSSC Forest Guard & Wildlife Guard
Must qualify the following Physical Efficiency Tests :-
- For Male Candidates : Complete a run of 25 kilometers in 04 hours carrying a load of 10 kg.
- For Female Candidates : Complete a run of 14 kilometers in 04 hours carrying a load of 10 kg. This race is qualifying in nature.
